Back from holidays… with a 35mm

We were in Linz (Austria) over Easter Break for the IFES European Students conference. About 2000 people and a lot of fun.

Since this was not quite a holiday and we were traveling by train (limited space and weight for stuff to carry around) I decided to take only my 35mm lens. It was an interesting experience. Once you have realized that you won’t be able to do everything (no zoom, only a 50mm equivalent) then you can start making the most of it – and with such a luminous and high quality lens, there is a lot to do. But focusing at f/2.0 is tricky even with an autofocus.

Well, here are a few samples – I don’t have enough good pictures to create a gallery on my image site, so I put them here…

Rolf, that was a good one. I have more or less given my film body away, to someone who barely uses it. Tough times 🙂
