Using Linux for Photography is on Slashdot

The other day, Jon mentioned an article on ubuntuproductivity.com about finding Linux alternatives to Lightroom and Aperture. The story has since been picked up by Slashdot and DPreview – Pentax forums (my home…)

I read through (some of) the comments and the bottom line (to me) is: Photography workflow on Linux is doable, but with several tools while Lightroom or Aperture have the power of integration.

Good to see the topic of using Linux for Photography getting some press, debates and comments
